CCWW Pigskin Pick'em 26

Congrats to our Winners - Week Five

A moment of silence for the great "Iron Mike" Ditka..

Mike was truly an NFL legend as a ground-breaking tight end who was one of the first to be a great receiver and blocker during his time as a Bear, Ealge and Cowboy.  NFL Rookie of the Year, 5 time pro-bowler, NFL 75th and 100th Anniversary All-Time Teams and Super Bowl VI Champion.  He continued his career as an NFL coach the year after he stopped playing under the great Tom Landry.  And everyone know how the 80's went as Mike became one of the few guys to win a SB as player and HC.  His run with the Saints wasn't that great, but he had a truly epic player / coaching  career that continued into broadcasting.  Phenomenal dude, and he'll be missed.  RIP Mr. Ditka.

Congrats to our winners this week - Reagan Schwartz and Christi Hustead!  Great job.  They both had eleven correct picks - Reagan was a bit closer to the final.  Think that's the first one for Reagan..  Correct me if I'm wrong..

Week 5 Recap

Cowboy fans.  Man - it is a love / hate relationship with your team - you just don't know which one will show up.  Bucs came into Big D with ZERO wins, and punked you.  Wow.  What an interesting start to the week.

We had a couple blowouts, some OT games and even a friggin' tie.  Check it all out.

About CCWW Pick'em

What started as a friendly group of 15 / 20 co-workers way back in 2001 or so in the CC Corporate offices has continued and grown ever since.  This year our roster is close to 60 people.  Awesome. Players come and players go, but Mitch always brings newbies.  Thanks to all who continue to play.

Every week you can take a look here and get my quick breakdown of the NFL games from the weekend.  I'll give you my 2 cents on what was great, who stunk, stupid things that happened, great plays and if the Broncos made me happy.  I'll post the weekly winners, and take a quick peek at the upcoming matchups that look good in the following week.
